Traffic Controller
Duties:
- Direct traffic at construction sites or events to ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
- Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, barricades, and signs.
- Communicate with drivers and pedestrians to provide instructions and guidance.
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed.
- Report any incidents or safety hazards to supervisors or law enforcement.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a traffic controller is required (6 months - 1 year) -Experience using Portable Message signs, sign installation, TC-1 reports, & any other certifications is preferred.
- Experience with striping is preferred. - Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for long periods of time. - Worksite Traffic Control Supervisor certification is preferred. - Flagging certification required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Traffic Control: 1 year (Required)
- trailer pulling: 1 year (Preferred)
- Portable Message Signs: 1 year (Preferred)

- TC-1 reports: 1 year (Preferred)
- Striping: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
