To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Residential Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in residential homes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure residential HVAC systems run efficiently and have a long lifespan.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, providing prompt and effective repairs or recommending necessary replacements.
- Respond to service calls and handle emergency repairs as needed, ensuring client satisfaction and safety.
- Collaborate with homeowners to understand their heating and cooling needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records, including parts used and labor hours.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure safe working conditions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve service offerings.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in residential HVAC service, installation, and repair.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- A commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- HVAC certification or relevant trade school education is a plus.
