POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Sales Representative at Vertical Roofing, you must understand the sales skills required to sell insurance and retail restoration projects. As a Sales Rep, you will demonstrate handling claims, managing customers, interacting with subcontractors, and displaying proper time management within projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Run Company leads and generates revenue by selling insurance and retail roofing contracts.
- Self-Generate leads through a referral base, network prospecting, and door-to-door canvassing.
- Meet with Insurance Adjusters to represent homeowners and get roofs bought on-site.
- Manage time and productivity daily.
- Maintain accurate lead records and CRM Data for all opportunities.
- Able to guide property owners through the claims process from start to finish with little to no help while understanding sales requirements.
- Correspond with customers throughout the process and monitor daily work crews' completion during production.
- Meet with property owners to properly close out projects, including but not limited to obtaining a Certificate of Completion, signed warranty paperwork, and final payment collections.
- Turn in customer service surveys and referrals on all jobs.
- Represent Vertical Roofing with proper company conduct and company dress code at all times.
- Bring Vertical Roofing 30 positive reviews on Google, Yelp, or Angie’s List annually.
- Attend ALL Company-required employee and sales meetings.
- Attend ALL product and manufacturer training and certification courses.
- Meet the minimum weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals outlined in the sales targets outlined by your Sales Manager.
- Maintain the minimum sales conversion ratio required by Vertical Roofing.
- Maintain any other duties that may come up related to your job at Vertical Roofing or, as required, provide excellent customer service to our customers.
- Physical ability and confidence to walk on roofs and climb ladders regularly.
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential/commercial roofing sales.
- A strong network of industry contacts is a plus.
- Ability to generate and close high-value deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a drive for success.
