You will be spearheading our third office opening, this presents both challenges and lots of upside. We have a proven model in both Colorado and San Diego. However, part of the challenges will be learning the market through a bit of trial and error, needing to self source properties on your own initially while the marketing picks up and laying the groundwork for the rest of the team. The opportunities are that you will have a faster path to promotion within the firm as well the opportunity to help grow a team while making great income. Being the first of the team in a market means you will be able to secure valuable relationships within the market before you have much competition. You will have management support in office but having a can-do attitude will be imperative to your success.

This is an opportunity to join an experienced team of real estate professionals focusing on flipping, wholesaling, re-development and rental acquisitions. Combined we have closed over 500 deals in the last 5 years and are now looking to expand our team.

We are seeking motivated individuals that are willing to put in the work. This is a full-time, commission-only job. Your efficiency and work ethic will be the main contributor to your success. This position is what you make of it - there is the potential to earn six figures in your first year.

Vertigo Real Estate Ventures is a high-performance real estate investment company looking for a full-time Investment Real Estate Acquisitions Associate.

This is a commission-only position with incredible pay and compensation benefits. We will provide the tools necessary and support our acquisitions team needs to perform at their highest level. We reward contribution and results with no cap on income. The potential to achieve annual commissions in excess of $200,000 is highly likely for those who go above and beyond.

Vertigo is a full-service investment firm with a strong focus on wholesale real estate. We have a multi-faceted approach to dispositions through our investor-buyers and various branches that include fix-n-flip, buy and hold (rentals) and creative financing.

If you can think on your feet and are an assertive, self-directed, and goal-oriented person with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone, you may be a good fit for our company. We are seeking to fill the position with someone who does not get intimidated, offended or discouraged in the face of rejection. We are in need of someone who understands that the "fortune is in the follow-up," is relentless with following up on leads, as well as someone who is very skilled at handling objections, managing time, and prioritizing work.

We provide hot leads daily, but also expect an acquisitions person to grind and generate leads each week. Performing tasks like cold calling, texting and email follow-up are expected, as we are looking for someone with a "whatever it takes" attitude.

Our company is rapidly expanding with a need to hire more people. After proving their ability to thrive in this position, a talented acquisitions specialist could earn even more as a trainer teaching new team members how to close deals and capturing a commission on trainee deals, too.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Immediately contact and vet seller leads while quickly building rapport and trust
  • Manage lead information and sales activities in company CRM
  • Tracking Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly KPI's
  • Schedule inspection appointments (when applicable), consult on best options, and present possible solutions to prospective sellers
  • Evaluate a property based on data obtained online, via the phone, including sales value and the cost of rehabbing the home, (we will teach this to someone new to the industry)
  • Build rapport with the sellers, overcome objections and successfully negotiate purchase agreement contracts
  • Managing follow up and relationship-building in the pipeline while prioritizing “hot” seller leads
  • Ability to follow company's closing sequence (required)
  • Motivated to bring in outside business for additional income


Qualifications:

  • Real Estate Acquisitions experience
  • Real Estate License required; you must acquire a license before your start date if you don't currently hold your license
  • 2 years of commission-based sales experience
  • Confidence in your ability to close & great at reading people
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office/Google Docs
  • Exceptional phone skills and strong communication abilities in general
  • Acute attention to detail with IMPECCABLE FOLLOW-UP SKILLS

Bilingual English-Spanish candidates will be given special consideration, but we do consider English-only speaking candidates as well.


Experience:

  • Real Estate Sales: 2 years (Preferred)


Job Type:

  • Full-time; Commission-only, no draw. (Potential of $100,000-$300,000 per year benefits)
