About the Role
This is a PRN opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality care to patients in an assisted living setting. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for delivering patient-centered care, and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
The Physical Therapist Assistant will perform physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes. Responsibilities include:
- Providing physical therapy treatments to patients according to treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Assisting the Physical Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient treatments and progress notes.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
- An Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or a related field.
- Preferably one year of rehabilitation experience in an assisted living setting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Adequate computer skills to complete required job duties.
