Summary:
The main function of this data analyst is to diagnose performance trends using complex data and provide sharp analytical insights and ongoing tracking/reporting of trends as well as coordinating changes to databases and implementation of data tests.
Job Responsibilities: Use data to shape development of programs, quantify new audience opportunities, identify upcoming challenges for the business Diagnose root cause of performance decline or growth to inform business strategy Productionize data visualization and dashboards for broader usage Source and analyze data, provide analytical insights, track and report on progress as needed
Required Skills: Problem solving and analysis experience including solving complex business challenges Experience using data to create compelling stories that communicate key messages Review existing databases and database management systems and direct programmers and analysts to make changes. Coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required. Experience with data modeling, machine learning, experimentation/causal inference methods. Familiarity with data visualization, creation of productionized dashboards Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time. Strong knowledge of database management software.
Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Knowledge of database management software.
Education/Experience: Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.
