Seeking a Program Manager (Administrative Services Administrator 1) to implement and administer the vision, strategy, and goals of the center. The center leverages collective resources to foster a unique, dynamic culture of collaboration, curiosity and ambition that promotes and accelerates innovative, groundbreaking discovery focused on longevity and healthy aging. As an NIH funded center, we are focused on creating rich research setting for our stakeholders and beyond.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Development of scientific content and submitting progress reports and grant applications to the NIH.
- Develop and implement project plans in coordination with internal and outside stakeholders.
- Plan and execute the Longevity and Healthy Aging communication strategy to both internal and external stakeholders via multiple channels, including newsletters, mass emails, events, and social media.
- Day-to-day management of pilot projects and their subcontracts.
- Create and execute Longevity and Healthy Aging seminar series, including coordinating speakers, timing, space, and other logistics.
- Communication and coordination between leadership and faculty and staff.
- Provide general support for the director.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in relevant field such as digital health, health informatics, etc.
- Program and/or project management experience preferred.
- 2-3 years exp with NIH grants
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):
- Demonstrated ability to create and submit progress reports and other documentation materials to the NIH through their online portal.
- Awareness of the NIH rules and ability to ensure that the center stays in compliance with all NIH rules and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to assist pilot awardees in creating documents for the NIH including the required IRB documents.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decisions.
- Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant subject matter knowledge.
