JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Purchasing Agent (SRM Rollout Support) (5066)
Location:Woodcliff Lake, NJ 07677
Position Type: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Contract Type: W2
Duration:12 Months (Possibilities of extension)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or a related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS)
- SAP experience
- Excellent communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the flow of purchase requisitions in SAP
- Conduct initial reviews of purchase requisitions for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with internal policies
- Support RFP processes by organizing documents, meetings, and initial price comparisons
- Provide basic problem resolution related to Purchasing procedures and SAP system questions
- Contact vendors to clarify technical and logistical questions
- Manage administrative tasks including emailing, filing, and organizing RFPs
- Manage the composition, issuance, changes, and distribution of Purchase Orders and Contracts
- Conduct smaller purchases or negotiations under the guidance of a senior buyer
- Support the SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) rollout project and assist project representatives
