AI Scum Master/Business Analyst

Job Summary

Vertiv is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master/Business Analyst to join our team. The role will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices, ensuring efficient workflow, and fostering collaboration among team members. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvement and deliver high-quality results.

This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Westerville, OH - HQ location.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews) for multiple AI development teams
• Remove impediments and shield the team from external interruptions and distractions 
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum framework 
• Track and communicate project progress to stakeholders using appropriate metrics and tools 
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between data scientists, engineers, business users, and other stakeholders 
• Help teams break down complex AI initiatives into manageable sprints and user stories 
• Manage dependencies between different AI projects and teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Preferred Requirements:
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and development lifecycle 
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), or similar cloud platform.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake or similar Data lake platform.
  • Previous experience managing data science or AI projects
