What are the responsibilities and job description for the COE-ERS Marketing Operations Specialist - Columbus, OH position at Vertiv?
The ERS Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting a variety of marketing processes and operations for the ERS and HVM businesses to enable optimized outcomes. These marketing processes will include field lead program management, lead management and tracking, marketing and sales program analysis, customer satisfaction surveys, event execution support, market research, and other processes. This role is responsible for with the marketing director and working cross-functionally to coordinate and optimize these processes and operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis, CRM, marketing disciplines, and process development . This role demonstrates a collaborative approach between sales, marketing, technical, legal, and finance and is designed for an entrepreneurial self-starter. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Develop and manage the field lead process and program
- Develop, refine, and publish marketing dashboards for use in internal decision-making
- Manage and enhance (when applicable) the lead and prospect management process
- Assist the marketing team with industry event execution and logistics management
- Support the marketing asset development process and collateral material management
- Manage the marketing calendars for social media and campaign execution
- Work with Vertiv web team to update ERS and HVM website content
- Support the promotional and print webstores
- Create regular reporting cadence for specific program performance
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned and applicable
Education & Certifications: Please note minimum and preferred requirements for education. This includes degree, specializations and certifications. |
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Analysis, Business Operations, or related field required
- Broad based understanding of marketing is essential.
- Knowledge of the electrical industry and its standards (NETA, IEEE, NFPA, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with services marketing and/or product development

- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (ie. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Proficient with data visualization tools (ie PowerBI)
- Project management skills
- Strong written and presentation skills
- Digital marketing experience is a plus
- Experience with marketing automation tools (ie Pardot, Eloqua) a plus
- Experience with Google Analytics, Canva, Adobe Suite, Sharepoint is a plus
- Manage by Influence skills
- Based in Westerville, OH
