Job Summary
Vertiv Services Continuous Improvement Department is looking for a Continuous Improvement Intern. The Continuous Improvement department works to make the processes of Vertiv Services simpler, faster, better, and less costly by utilizing Lean and Continuous Improvement principles
Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis in excel or other analytical software tools.
- Participate in continuous improvement training sessions
- Assist in building and delivering project presentations and updates
- Assist with development and delivery of continuous improvement training
- Participate and lead project team calls and meetings
- Define and documents process best practices
- Assist with project and process document management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Process Engineering, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Management Information Systems, or similar degree
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of software especially Excel, Power Point and Word.
- Motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning and attention to detail
- Thrives in fast-paced environment
- Desire to solve problems and find better way to get things done without sacrificing quality
- Ability to work with team
