What are the responsibilities and job description for the International Tax Manager position at Vertiv?
Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead and manage projects involving M&A activity, reorganizations, debt planning, cash repatriation, intellectual property, and supply chain optimization, and coordinate with Vertiv business leaders in the proper execution and maintenance of these projects.
- Integrate significant acquisitions into Vertivs supply chain and legal entity structure while ensuring compliance and documentation processes are met.
- Appropriately document and support key initiatives to support internal controls, external audit requests, and potential controversy issues related to international tax projects.
- Stay knowledgeable of emerging legislation, regulations, and guidance that could impact Vertivs policies and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Develop a knowledge and understanding of key US international tax attributes including GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, FDII, and BEAT while considering transfer pricing and local country tax laws.
- Oversee and manage external tax advisors to ensure timely execution on deliverables and projects are executed within budget.
- Review and update plans to ensure an optimal legal entity structure while helping to rationalize the ongoing need for legal entities.
