What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Engineer Thermal position at Vertiv?
POSITION SUMMARY
- The position of a Customer Engineer Power involves daily work for our customers. They are responsible for all service activities as maintenance, repair, and commissioning work at our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance and commissioning of UPS / 48V systems and battery systems at the customer's site
- Testing of system parameters and processes, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and repair of malfunctions
- Documentation and realization of the assignments on time and on target
- Usage of all necessary tools within the VERTIV policies
- Emergency Standby within the region
QUALIFICATIONS
- Successfully completed vocational training as an electrician in the field of electrical engineering or Industrial engineering
- Practical and technical experience in handling battery systems
- Readiness to travel in the supervised region, possibly with overnight stay.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and action, hands-on mentality
- Driver´s license category B
- Fluent German and English
