The Sr Project Manager Finance Transformation will support the finance transformation agenda across the finance organization, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. This individual will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams and driving the successful implementation of finance process improvements, technology upgrades, and digital transformation efforts aimed at enhancing the overall efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of our finance operations. The Sr Project Manager will work closely with our Finance Global Process Leaders for Order to Cash, Record to Report and Purchase to Pay, other finance teams, our shared service centers in Cluj, Romania and Manila, Philippines.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a deep understanding of finance, finance systems, and experience working in a fast-paced, high execution environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Finance Transformation Projects: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of finance transformation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, timelines, and budgets. Establish and lead overall project governance across all key processes (Order to Cash, Record to Report and Purchase to Pay).
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and deliverables. Ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet business requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders including senior leadership, finance teams, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment, transparency, and smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous process improvement initiatives within finance, ensuring the adoption of best practices, automation, and the integration of new technologies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Change Management: Assist with the change process by developing and executing communication and training strategies to ensure smooth transitions for finance teams and other impacted stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks associated with finance transformation projects. Proactively address issues as they arise to minimize disruption.
- Reporting & Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, including key metrics and KPIs, to senior management. Provide regular updates on milestones, budget, and resource allocation.
- Technology Implementation: Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure the successful implementation of finance systems and tools (ERP, automation software, etc.) that align with transformation goals.
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources to meet deadlines and project requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in finance with at least 2 years focused on finance transformation or related projects.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering large-scale finance transformation initiatives, including process optimization.
- Deep understanding of finance systems, process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and financial technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive change, manage cross-functional teams, and influence peers and senior leaders across the global organization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term strategic goals.
