What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Material Handler position at Vertiv?
- Responsible for checking off all received goods that comes into stores.
- You must check and match the materials against the delivery paperwork.
- Work closely with the ‘Dock Controller’ to ensure that you receive all the necessary paperwork.
- Ensure that the arrived material is properly checked for accuracy and possible damage.
- Follow the SOP for receiving goods and co-ordinate with the receiving administrator.
- Count stock items, and record data manually or using company computer systems.
- Organise materials, equipment and all resources required for each project.
- Accurate maintenance of stock levels and ensuring product is allocated to the current projects
- Understands all storeroom material issues, receiving and shipping procedures to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
