We are seeking an experienced Home Infusion Nurse to join our team! As an Infusion Care Nurse
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of home health care and IV therapy. Care of peripheral and central lines
- Knowledge of Infusion therapy Modalities including infusion pumps
- Experience in the following skill sets recommended: PORT care; Central line care; Starting Peripheral IV, Venipuncture, Foley Catheter Care, Wound care, Wound Vac application, Ostomy care, Pleurx, Medication and Disease Process teaching
- Knowledge of medications, indications, dosage ranges, side effects and potential toxicities
- Exceptional standards of patient care and communication
- Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure
- Continuous education of developments in the field of nursing and infusion therapy
- Required state licensing to act as a nurse in a hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of One year Home Health Experience (REQUIRED)
- At least 2 years of recent medical surgical or critical care experience
- Current CPR certification (REQUIRED).
- Valid Florida driver’s license, active automobile insurance and reliable vehicle
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and medical charting
- The ability to work well in a high-pressure environment
