Vervic Recruiting is seeking a Business Development Representative (Hybrid-Remote or Fully Remote) based in Indianapolis. Ideally candidates will have prior experience in the Logistics or Import / Export Freight Forwarding Industry. This role is focused on acquiring new clients and heavy business development.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, cold call and email potential companies to obtain new business
  • Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
  • Build uncapped, national territory
  • Effectively demonstrate company import / export services
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
  • 2 years' experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success / building a book of business.
  • Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
  • Must pass a background check annd DOT drug screening test, as well as random drug screenings as a new employee.
