What You'll Do:
As a custodian, you'll be responsible for daily cleaning, sanitizing, and upkeep of our facility. You'll work closely with our maintenance team to ensure every space is secure, functional, and sparkling clean. This includes:
- Daily vacuuming, mopping, and sanitation control
- Trash and recycling removal
- Deep cleaning on a scheduled basis
- Monitoring safety and security issues
- Assisting with outdoor cleanup and weather prep
- Reporting repair needs and supply shortages
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous custodial or janitorial experience
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Pays close attention to detail and takes initiative
- Is physically able to lift up to 30 lbs (or 50 lbs assisted), bend, climb, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Has a valid Alabama driver's license or equivalent
- Is available to work some weekends, holidays, and in emergency situations, as needed
