Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. Fine Dining experience is necessary. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and communicate clearly will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately through the cash register.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
- Assist in training new staff members as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
