POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead Installer supports the Foreman by ensuring each job is completed with quality, safety, and efficiency. They assist with managing tasks, troubleshooting on-site issues, and ensuring smooth, timely project completion.
Essential Job Functions
- Assists the Foreman in communicating tasks and instructions to the crew before, during, and after each job.
- Supports crew members with their tasks, ensuring everyone adheres to safety protocols.
- Motivates and encourages team members, reporting any issues or concerns to the Foreman or Production Manager.
Job Preparation and Installation
- Reviews job specifications alongside the Foreman to ensure all necessary materials and equipment are loaded on the truck.
- Assists in assessing job site conditions and making necessary adjustments.
- Performs hands-on work during installations, helping to keep the job on track for timely completion.
- Assists in troubleshooting and making on-the-spot adjustments as needed.
- Helps ensure all job paperwork is completed and returned to the appropriate departments.
Customer Interaction and Satisfaction
- Helps communicate with the customer and office staff throughout the project, following the company's customer messaging.
- Helps ensure the job site is clean and the customer’s home is left in better condition than it was found.
- Assists in providing a remarkable experience for every customer by supporting the Foreman in delivering excellent service.

Requirements
- Knowledge of construction or related trades preferred
- Ability and skill in operating equipment and/or power tools preferred.
- Ability to operate a phone/apps/tablet.
- Ability to detect/recognize information in written materials or on a screen up to 75% of the time.
- Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English; ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred and 1 years of experience in the construction trades OR a combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record in this field.
- Ability to lift or move up to 100 lb. occasionally, and/or up to 50 lb. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lb. of force constantly to move objects.
- Ability to stay upright/stand up to 100% of the time.
- Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces.
- A valid driver’s license (and/or CDL), safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company.
