Job Description
Vesta Home seeks an experienced and skilled 3rd Shift Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and supervising tasks that enable the distribution of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time and maintain a positive, professional attitude
- Abide by company policies and procedures at all times
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment and report any safety hazards
- Communicate effectively with management and team members
- Provide accurate time cards and assist with new hire orientation
- Participate in coaching and counseling sessions with team members
- Assist with inventory control and maintain accurate records
Essential Functions:
- Can perform all Whse Level 1 and Level 2 functions
- Create a culture of safety by administering and participating in weekly safety meetings
- Oversee team members loading/unloading trucks/containers
- Perform quality inspections and teach/train new hires
- Prepare reports and participate in process improvements
