JOB SUMMARY: Your Flight Plan!
The Fitness Staff helps with a variety of fitness floor duties. Extensive contact with the residents and excellent people skills are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Ready to Fly!
- Conduct resident and teen orientations of the fitness floor equipment
- Work and maintain fitness front desk area
- Assist residents with fitness class passes
- Re-rack free weights, sanitize and organize fitness area
- Responsible for reporting any faulty equipment and maintaining the safety & cleanliness of the fitness floor
- This position has no supervisory responsibility.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: The Wingspan Needed!
- Great customer service skills
- Fitness experience
- Current CPR & AED Certifications
- Minimum age is 18
- Must be available to work a variety of shift hours: early am (5:00am), afternoons, evenings & weekends
- Must be able to lift 45lb weight plats and bars
- Occasional travel may be required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Our Nest is your Nest!
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, Climbing, balancing, stooping and crouching.
- The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 200 pounds.
- This job operates in a gym, group exercise studio, indoor/outdoor pool and/or in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines and standard gym equipment, like weights, weight machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines and other similar machines.
