Product Manager, Airtable Specialist

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our growing Merchandising Systems product team.

As Airtable Specialist, you will be responsible for creating Airtable roadmaps & improvement plans and implementing them in support of the operating goals across multiple business teams at Williams Sonoma Inc. This hire is an Airtable pro and loves elevating business processes through use of workflow tools, automation, and AI. You will lead discovery, design, implementation, and ongoing optimization. You will partner with brand stakeholders, leadership and Airtable to establish a Center of Excellence.

The Airtable Specialist will work cross-functionally with Merchandising, Creative, Product Development, Care Center, Wholesale, Product and Technology teams across the enterprise. You will ensure Airtable workflow implementations, automations and AI meet outcome expectations across all 8 WSI brands. This person will also be responsible for training and developing Airtable proficiency for end-users.

The ideal candidate has product experience with latest Airtable platform at scale within Retail. The candidate will have a good understanding of change management and business workflows, is outcome focused, a keen sense of ownership, and effective communication skills across different audiences.

You will be a key member of the product team responsible for conceptualizing, designing and delivering the merchandising systems that drive Williams-Sonoma Inc.'s industry leading omni-channel business.

Responsibilities

• Increase speed and efficiency of business workflows through delivery of Airtable solutions using capabilities such as app library, managed components, AI, automation and portals.
• Lead, prioritize and coordinate the roadmap, process maps, data flows, and overall Airtable strategy to support business priorities.
• Own the analysis, requirement gathering, design, documentation, building, and implementation of Airtable functions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to streamline complex business workflows.
• Establish Center of Excellence for Airtable ensuring brand adoption of best practices.
• Build Airtable apps to create new workflows, analyze data, & drive insights for leadership.
• Act as WSI’s subject-matter-expert for any Airtable related issues.
• Instruct & onboard new business hires on Airtable.
• Conduct data quality reviews to ensure integrations are operating as expected; safeguard the accuracy and completeness of data and content held in Airtable.
• Design and drive integrations between Airtable and merchandising systems platforms.
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and architects to deliver Airtable related projects.
• Ability to pivot to align with evolving business objectives.
• Operate a computer and communicate via telephone, zoom, slack and other digital methods.

Criteria

• At least 2-4 years in product management or senior business analyst roles or related work experience in operations and process improvement.
• 1 years hands-on experience with Airtable platform.
• Passion for all things Airtable and No Code.
• Ability to build custom Airtable apps & create integrations using the API.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business vision into tactical execution and deliver results.
• Strong drive towards execution and delivering value.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.
• Good interpersonal, leadership, & collaborative skill.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
• Can work with ambiguity.
• Knowledge of eCommerce and Retail industry is preferred.
• Understanding of database design and data governance is preferred.
• Ability to perform work in one of our corporate offices in a hybrid manner four days/week. We have offices in San Francisco, CA and Rocklin, CA
