What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Server/ Bartender position at Vestals Catering?
Position Summary:
The Catering Server/ Bartender is responsible for ensuring guest satisfactions at each and every event. We will give you every tool you need to make this happen! We currently have a need for part time which must include weekends. We are a growing company and offer room for advancement.
Responsibilities:
Execute catering events from set up to clean up
Ensure guest and client satisfaction
Must wear required uniform and maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
Greet guests and continually monitor to ensure quality guest satisfaction
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Inform managers of guest comments/complaints
Ensure that all guest requests are promptly addressed
Provide prompt, professional, and courteous service during event functions
Ensure all check out processes are complete
Coordinate with Operations Manager to identify ways to improve future events
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and be on your feet for up to 12 hours at a time
Must be able to work in high pressure scenarios and think on your feet
Knowledge of food & beverage etiquette
Ability to drive vans and box trucks and navigate to different venues
Punctuality and a positive attitude are an absolute requirement
Ability work in a walking or standing manor for long periods of time
Communicate well to staff, clients, and guests
Work evening, weekends, and holidays
Work well under pressure and in a high paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
