What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Partner - West position at Vestas?
General Purpose :
To support stakeholders to ensure capacity planning and demand management. Acting as the main point of contact regarding Supply Chain activities inclusive of known risks.
Responsibilities :
- Track inventory variances and investigate root causes through analysis (A,QA, P)
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure corrective actions are addressed (A,QA, P)
- Participates in stock taking audits and inventory reconciliation (A,QA, P)
- Work with Site Managers and Forecasting to improve material availability at site
- Ensure accuracy of safety stock and demand (historical and future) by identifying, quantifying, and managing materials
- Advise business on risk to stock levels that have potential to affect site activities
- Coordinate and participate in the development of material management methods at site
