What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4K Teacher position at Vestavia Hills Methodist Church?
Teachers are responsible for the daily implementation of developmentally appropriate lessons across the curriculum. They should be able to effectively manage a class of 15 3K students, along with a co-teacher, and prepare them to enter public or private Kindergarten. A degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is required. We offer competitive salaries, full benefits, and accrued PTO in addition to school-wide breaks on holidays. We follow the Vestavia Hills City School System for holidays and inclement weather closings. We are Nationally Accredited, therefore can provide small teacher/student ratios as well as the highest teaching standards in ECE. A signing bonus of $500 is applied to the first paycheck with an additional $2,000 upon the completion of a successful 90-day new employee review.
