What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Technician/Inspector position at Vestis?

JOB DESCRIPTION/ REQUIREMENTS:
- Perform daily QA testing, In-Process, and Final Inspections
- Perform weekly/monthly QA testing activities
- Perform additional QA inspections as needed.
- Inspect garments for nonconformities to the garment grading schedule and customer specific requirements.
- Scan all inspected garments to appropriate QA disposition
- Utilize Excel/Word for data entry of testing/inspection results
- Communicate issues to the QA Supervisor/Manager
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to wear cleanroom gowning of hood, coverall, boots, goggles, face mask, and gloves.
- Computer knowledge of Excel and Word preferred
- Detail orientated and ability to learn
- Maintain productivity; Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Candidate must be able to work 8 to 10 hours daily and Saturdays (as needed).
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Experience in Quality function beneficial
