JOB DESCRIPTION:
The role of a CNA Trainee requires attention to detail and an eye for quality. They are responsible for ensuring that the units they oversee are clean, well-maintained, and safe for residents. The role is also to provide nursing support services by performing resident-related services, which an unlicensed aide can do.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting in Meal Service for the residents

Stocking and keeping track of inventory on the unit
-
Making sure the Unit is clean and in line with NYS long-term care regulations

Assisting with other tasks on the Unit under the UA scope of practice

Mingling with the residents of the Unit

Act as Support Staff

Any other requests are given throughout the shift to make sure the Unit is operating efficiently
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 18 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness
- Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
- Covid Vaccinated
