Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee and manage the care of residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This leadership position is responsible for coordinating patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and a passion for providing high-quality care in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee the delivery of patient care, ensuring adherence to care plans and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress, addressing any changes in condition.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in NYS preferred. LPN applicants encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a nursing leadership or supervisory role in a skilled nursing or rehab setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to assess patient needs.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
