This position can be located either in Graham, NC or Charlotte, NC
Purpose :
This position requires technical, organizational and interpersonal skills as this person is called on to engage in and coordinate design, estimate materials and develop drawings for installation of refractory linings for customer vessels and material applications. Primary focus within the Aluminum Engineering team located in Graham, NC. There is also a secondary need to assist Engineering teams in other locations in support of various industrial markets, including Power Generation, Cement, Non-Ferrous Metals, Foundry and Iron & Steel markets. The ability to interface well with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, other Engineering personnel and Customers is necessary to complete projects in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and produce Engineered refractory drawings for new equipment and equipment modification in various industrial applications.
- Generate estimates and bills of material for assigned projects.
