We are seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Intern to join our Cleveland, OH team. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management within a global manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do:
As an HSE Intern, you will work closely with the HSE Manager to support key safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
✅ Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HSE programs and policies
✅ Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
✅ Support OSHA, EPA, and other compliance tracking & reporting
✅ Assist with employee safety training and awareness initiatives
✅ Collect and analyze HSE data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
✅ Help coordinate hazard communication, emergency preparedness, and safety initiatives
✅ Support environmental compliance efforts such as waste management and sustainability projects
✅ Perform other duties as assigned by the HSE Manager
What We’re Looking For:
Recent graduate (or final-year student) in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Passion for workplace safety, environmental sustainability, and compliance
Previous internship or experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus
