Job Description
The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.
The key responsibilities include:
- Performing tests at various stages of production process to determine whether material meet prescribed formulas and standards in order to maintain quality and reliability of products.
- Drawing sample to be tested at specified stages in production process.
- Setting up and performing standardized tests to determine physical properties.
- Determining conformity to prescribed formulas and standards, and documenting deviations.
- Making routine adjustments or notifying appropriate personnel.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all quality tests and inspections.
- Maintaining test equipment.
- Identifying and troubleshooting quality issues and non-conformances; recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborating with production teams to implement quality control measures during manufacturing processes.
- Participating in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control.
- Participating in internal and external audits.
- Providing training and support to other laboratory personnel.
