The Opportunity :
We are seeking an experienced and analytical demand planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting and planning product demand, coordinating with cross-functional teams and production team in Asia, analyzing data trends and inventory level, and making recommendations for inventory optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of demand planning
methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do at VeSync :
- Develop and implement effective forecast model based on industry trends, promotional calendar and historical sales.
- Analyze sales run rates, identify potential threats to supply and escalate to appropriate teams.
- Lead Collaborative, Planning, Forecast, and Replenishment meetings ultimately gaining insights from customer contacts and communicating relevant supply information.
- Track supply by working with Operations, Order Management and Procurement teams in the U.S. and Asia to ensure on time and in full delivery of weekly orders.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Update and maintain forecast files on a weekly and monthly cadence or as needed.
- Notify inventory and supply chain teams of changes in forecast to execute ways to mitigate excess inventory.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budget, and business strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales objectives, forecast and supply.
- Communicate forecast variances and provide recommendations for improvement to management and key stakeholders.
- Product life cycle management including New Product Introduction, item transition and exit strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement of demand planning processes and systems.
- Ad hoc reporting as needed.

Salary : $80,000 Annually
