We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Corporate Attorney to join our legal team. The Corporate Attorney will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while protecting the interests of the company.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to mitigate risks.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
- Advise on matters related to Intellectual Property, including Patent law.
- Represent the company in disputes involving Workers compensation law and Personal injury law.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment with legal requirements.
- Prepare reports and documentation for corporate meetings and regulatory filings.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Tribal law regulations and their implications for corporate operations.
- Proficient in legal research methodologies, particularly using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents.
- Knowledge of Securities law as it pertains to corporate transactions.
