Job Summary
The Community Relations Lead supports the project's community engagement and relations management for the project. Reporting to the Site Manager, the CR Lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining a community relations plan that is aligned with customer engagement plans and contract requirements, as well as Bechtel sustainability requirements.

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities
Education and Experience Requirements :
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge And Skills
Degree in journalism, public relations, or other social science discipline or Associate's degree with IAP2 certification.
Experience performing community relations activities on a construction project.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as being a good listener.
Creative approach to identifying and solving problems.
Experience attending and organizing public or targeted stakeholder events.
Collaborative approach to working with colleagues, customers and communities.
Knowledgeable about and experience working with the public agencies and local government is desirable.
Familiarity with IAP2 is a plus.
