Project Overview
Bechtel's focus on renewables and clean energy is helping our customers deliver transformational renewables and clean energy projects. Bechtel renewables team will perform the project management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and startup for the Mammoth South, Central I and Central II project for a 376MW DC each (Total of 1.1GW DC) solar plant in Pulaski County, Indiana.
Job Summary
In this role, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and / or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets.
Major Responsibilities
Monitors and organizes subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractor's management staff within the area of responsibility.
Planning / Productivity
Lead the preparation and implementation of the 3-week look-ahead and four-week rolling schedule and budget control with support from Field Engineering and Project Controls.
Minimum Education Required
High School / GED
Education and Experience Requirements :
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9 -12 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge And Skills
Must be physically capable to conduct field inspections and participate in project walkdowns which require the following activities : extensive walking in and around a construction site, walking on uneven surfaces, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
