Red Hill Animal Health Center is situated on the Western Slope of Colorado, just 30 minutes away from Aspen, which offers world-class skiing and outdoor adventures. We are in search of a part-time pet care attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a passionate animal lover with some experience in animal care and husbandry.
The role of a pet care attendant involves taking care of all aspects of daily boarding pet care, which includes feeding, medicating, walking, bathing, cleaning, and record-keeping. This position is physically demanding and requires walking up and down stairs multiple times a day and leash-walking both large and small dogs. The top priority of a pet care attendant is to ensure the daily comfort and safety of all kennel guests. Effective communication skills are essential as pet care attendants interact with pet owners and hospital staff daily, addressing any concerns or observations about boarding pets during their stay. Attention to detail and high dependability are imperative qualities for this role, as our pet guests (and their parents) rely on having a happy and loving stay with us.
