Our Veterinary Assistants Should Be Willing To
- Have a minimum 1-2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience
- Ask for help and offer help to others
- Grow and learn and grow some more
- Be positive! Because with the right cattitude , anything is possible
- Be empathetic to our clients, your team members, and yourself
- Tolerate puppy kisses and kitty headbutts
- Don’t stop believing (or retrieving, as your dog would say)
- Give/Accept support and acknowledgment to/from your team members on those ruff days
- Obtain and m intain Washington Medication Clerk License (training provided)
- Bonus if you know how to draw blood, take radiographs, exam room assistance , surgery assistance etc
- Mentoring and support for all team members
