Job Description
As a Veterinary Client Service Representative, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting the day-to-day operations of our hospital and team. You will greet clients, manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow for our medical team.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in clients and their pets in a warm and welcoming manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide accurate information regarding services and pricing
- Maintain client records and update patient information in our system
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Provide client education on basic pet care and upcoming appointments
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized front office area
- Coordinate with the veterinary team to ensure efficient patient flow and scheduling
- Handle client concerns and complaints professionally and compassionately
- Support with filing and general office tasks as needed
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a veterinary or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners
- Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology is a plus, but not required
- Proficient with office software and phone systems
