Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency medical procedures under the direction of a veterinarian.
- Assist with diagnostic testing, including bloodwork, radiographs, and lab work.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments to animals.
- Monitor anesthesia and post-operative recovery of patients.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and exam rooms.
- Provide exceptional client education on pet care, treatments, and preventative care.
- Assist with animal restraint
- Maintain detailed medical records and patient histories.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic.
- CVT not required, but preferred.
- Proven experience in veterinary clinics or animal care settings.
- Knowledge of animal health, medical terminology, and veterinary procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members.
- Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to the well-being of animals.
