Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and surgeries
- Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, x-rays, and ultrasounds
- Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgeries
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed
- Provide client education on pet care, treatments, and preventative health
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical history
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff
- Veterinary Technician degree or equivalent experience r equired
- Certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of veterinary medicine and medical terminology
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
