Position Overview: The Warranty Engineer will be responsible for managing and analyzing warranty claims, working closely with cross-functional teams, and providing technical expertise in identifying the root cause of product issues. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive components, manufacturing processes, and warranty systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical circuit measurements, troubleshooting, and vehicle electrical systems design.
- Review and analyze warranty claims, identifying trends and recurring issues.
- Investigate warranty defects and non-conformance, conducting root cause analysis to determine product failures.
- Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality control teams to address warranty concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed reports on warranty data, including cost analysis, impact assessments, and resolution timelines.
- Develop and maintain warranty databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure timely and efficient processing of warranty claims.
- Provide technical support and guidance to dealers, suppliers, and customers on warranty issues.
- Assist in developing warranty policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Familiar with Electrical Circuit Measurments
- Expert at probelm diagnostics
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warranty-related role in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive components, systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in warranty management software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
- Knowledge of automotive regulations and safety standards.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
