DevSecOps Lead

Are you a seasoned DevOps professional with a passion for integrating security into every stage of the software development lifecycle We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevSecOps Lead to spearhead DevOps deployment and security integration ensuring that all applications and systems are developed with a securityfirst approach. This role is crucial in driving automation compliance and best practices within our DevSecOps environment.

Why This Role As the DevSecOps Lead you will oversee the strategic implementation of security tools and automation in the development pipeline. Your leadership will foster collaboration between development security and operations teams ensuring a seamless secure and efficient software delivery process.

What You ll Do :

Strategy & Implementation :

• Lead the development and deployment of Azure DevOps tools and pipelines.
• Define and enforce DevSecOps strategy ensuring integration of security standards and best practices.
• Implement and manage automation and security tools for continuous integration delivery and deployment.
• Ensure vulnerabilities are identified and addressed in realtime.

Security & Compliance :

• Ensure all DevSecOps practices comply with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g. GDPR ISO NIST).
• Embed security at all phases of the DevOps pipeline with seamless automation in CI / CD processes.
• Track analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities in code infrastructure and thirdparty dependencies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of security processes configurations and incidents.
• Provide regular reports on security metrics and overall security posture within the DevOps environment.

Team Collaboration & Training :

• Educate development and operations teams on secure coding practices security tools and threat models.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure DevOps and security processes are a shared responsibility.
• Collaborate with security teams to respond to security incidents and lead root cause analysis efforts.

Requirements

Qualifications :

Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

5 years of experience in DevOps with a strong focus on security.

Skills & Abilities :

Proven experience implementing and leading DevSecOps practices in a fastpaced environment.

Strong expertise in DevOps tools and platforms (e.g. Jenkins GitLab Docker Kubernetes).

Deep knowledge of security tools and practices including static / dynamic code analysis vulnerability scanning and intrusion detection / prevention.

Strong experience with cloud platforms and security (Azure preferred AWS Google Cloud also considered).

Familiarity with infrastructureascode (IaC) and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform Ansible).

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.

Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.

Certifications :

Preferred : Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified DevOps Security Professional (CDSP) or equivalent.
