IT Director Head of Security

Are you a strategic leader with deep expertise in cybersecurity and risk management We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Security to develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy to protect digital assets intellectual property and operational technologies. You will work across all areas of the business to create a bestinclass security and compliance program ensuring robust protection against emerging threats.

What You ll Do :

Enterprise Security Strategy :

• Develop and implement an enterprisewide information security strategy and program.
• Ensure the security of proprietary data intellectual property and customer information.
• Oversee the protection of operational technologies (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) used in manufacturing processes.
• Act as an advisor to the CIO regarding compliance with information security policies.

Risk Management & Compliance :

• Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats.
• Establish and enforce security policies procedures and standards to comply with industry regulations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR HIPAA CCPA) and industry standards (e.g. ISO 27001 NIST).
• Assess and manage security risks associated with thirdparty vendors and service providers.

Security Operations & Incident Response :

• Implement and manage security technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection / prevention systems and endpoint protection.
• Monitor access to physical locations using camera monitoring systems badges and digital access controls.
• Lead responses to security incidents and breaches including investigation containment and remediation.
• Conduct postincident analysis and implement continuous improvements.

Collaboration & Leadership :

• Lead the information security team providing mentorship and professional development.
• Work with IT Operations Legal and other departments to ensure a holistic security approach.
• Negotiate security requirements in contracts and service level agreements.
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats technologies and regulatory requirements.
• Report on the status of security initiatives to the executive team and board of directors.

Requirements

• Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience securing OT and ICS environments in a manufacturing setting.
• Expertise in information security frameworks standards and best practices (e.g. NIST ISO 27001).
• Experience in risk management incident response and vulnerability management.
• Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work crossfunctionally and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Strong analytical problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
