Battery cells are some of the most complex components in the energy and transportation industries and your expertise will be essential in shaping the future of manufacturing for electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

What You ll Do :
Take equipment concepts from rough ideas to full production.
Collaborate with teams and equipment suppliers to achieve milestones like prototype releases testing and production launches.
Develop station requirements including automation strategies material flow and redundancy plans.
Identify utility needs such as compressed air and process water and coordinate their distribution.
Conduct process failure mode and effect analyses (PFMEA).
Create equipment validation plans and see them through execution.
Oversee equipment installation and coordinate with building and utilities teams.
Develop detailed manufacturing instructions to guide new processes.

Requirements
Qualifications :
Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
A bachelor s degree or higher in Mechanical Electrical Chemical Industrial or a related engineering field or equivalent handson experience.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience designing and installing new equipment or implementing largescale manufacturing lines.
Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts like line balancing and timing charts.
Handson CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred; Catia is a plus) for designing mechanical equipment and tooling.
Knowledge of manufacturing equipment safety systems including PLCs safety guarding and lockout / tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) data tracking and database architecture (Python and / or MySQL).
Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally
