What You ll Do :
Take equipment concepts from rough ideas to full production readiness.
Manage suppliers or internal design teams to achieve milestones such as testing validation and production rampup.
Develop station requirements including automation strategies buffering and redundancy plans.
Work with industrial engineering to design material flow strategies within the factory.
Identify and coordinate utility needs including compressed air and process water.
Conduct process failure mode and effect analyses (PFMEA) to mitigate risks.
Develop and execute equipment timing charts and validation plans.
Oversee equipment installation and coordinate with building and utilities teams.
Create detailed manufacturing instructions for new processes.

Requirements
Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
Bachelor s degree or higher in Mechanical Electrical Controls Chemical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
34 years of handson experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience designing and installing new equipment and implementing large manufacturing lines.
Familiarity with industrial engineering concepts like line balancing and timing charts.
CAD design experience for mechanical equipment and tooling (SolidWorks preferred; Catia is a plus).
Understanding of tolerance stackups and manufacturing equipment safety systems (e.g. Safety PLCs light curtains LOTO).
PLC controls experience (Allen Bradley Siemens or Beckhoff).
Experience with MES and database systems (Python and / or MySQL).
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
