What You’ll Do :
Lead a team of manufacturing engineers in key production areas within the plant.
Oversee daily activities to maximize resource utilization and efficiency.
Develop and manage team training programs, provide continuous feedback, and monitor performance.
Collaborate with management to coordinate and execute project schedules.
Participate in and lead equipment design, testing, commissioning, and final buyoff processes.
Drive the development of manufacturing processes, systems, and station requirements, including automation, traceability, and maintenance strategies.
Conduct process failure mode and effect analyses (PFMEA) to identify and mitigate risks.
Develop and execute equipment validation plans.
Monitor and track equipment performance, identifying root causes and implementing countermeasures to improve uptime and efficiency.

Requirements
Must have served in U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of hands-on manufacturing experience, including 3-5 years in management.
Minimum of 3 years in a battery cell manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14000, and IATF 16949 standards.
Experience designing and implementing large manufacturing lines and new equipment installations.
Strong understanding of industrial engineering concepts such as line balancing and timing charts.
Knowledge of manufacturing equipment safety systems, including PLCs, safety guarding, and lockout / tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Proficiency with PLC controls (Siemens, Mitsubishi, and / or Beckhoff).
Experience with MES and database system architecture.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Formal problem-solving expertise for addressing complex issues.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (including up to 20% travel to China).

Salary : $180,000 - $216,000
