About the Role
The Second Shift Supervisor will play a pivotal role in launching and managing a new shift to meet increased production demands. You will lead by example, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in achieving operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles
- Collaborate with other shifts and departments to resolve production issues and enhance processes
- Collect and report data on safety, quality, and delivery metrics
- Clearly communicate expectations and provide feedback to ensure alignment with safety, quality, productivity, and behavioral standards
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, morale, and adherence to company policies
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Experience with safety training and compliance
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
