Duties
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
- Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges.
- Conduct endodontic treatments, including root canal therapy.
- Deliver pediatric dentistry services tailored to the needs of younger patients.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards in the dental office.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and infection control protocols.
- Experience or training in endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
