Marketing Project Manager

Seeking a Marketing Project Manager for a Hybrid role in the Reston, VA area. This person will be responsible for planning, executing and delivering consumer facing marketing and education initiatives. In this role, you will manage projects through the design, implementation and testing phases in accordance with project objectives. The candidate will collaborate with multiple groups and stakeholders to ensure projects meet expectations and are completed on time and on budget. You will be required to use company program management tools to manage project work plans, issues, risks, and dependencies as well as produce status reports, conduct status meetings and facilitate issue resolution and risk management sessions.

Skills:

· Oversee the planning and execution of marketing/strategic deliverables

· Facilitate communications with key stakeholders to align on key objectives, outcomes and deliverables

· Develop and maintain detailed project workplans to keep teams up to date with progress and changes to plan

· Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills

· Ability to help resolve technical issues

· Ability to manage, coordinate and guide several projects at a time

· Strong issue resolution and risk management skills

· Experience with project management methodologies

· Maintain quality standards across all deliverables

· Work with internal creative and communications departments, as well as external vendors and/or freelancers

· Manage and oversee project budget to actuals

Education/Work Experience:

· PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired

· Considered to have strong skills and expertise in the project management field, including experience with Workfront and/or other work management systems

· Extreme attention to detail and proven ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Marketing experience desired but not required

· 4-5 years of PM experience

· Demonstrated ability in managing projects similar in scope and complexity to the project requirements; shows a track record of completing projects on time

Pay: Up to $49.40 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
