The VCS is a federal agency under the Department of Veteran Affairs and operates cafés, retail stores, coffee shops and vending machines across the country.
Duties :
The incumbent in this position is responsible for all areas of canteen operations relating to retail, food, vending, sales, merchandising, accountability, misc. service of the canteens located at station, Brooklyn, NY, and will also oversee operations at the St. Albans Community Living Center in Queens, NY. The incumbent is responsible for a full range of personnel management, administrative controls, reviews, & processes relative to canteen operations. e.g., POGs, RPOS, inventory controls, stock schedules, food safety, sanitation, promotional programs, etc. The incumbent is responsible for attaining financial goals & implementing program objectives as established by VCSCO and / or Region Manager.

Required Minimum Qualifications :
